Position Summary
BB&E is currently looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Engineering Project Manager to support the 35 CES Engineering Flight at Misawa AB, Japan. This role provides technical expertise in leading design and construction project execution supporting 35 CES programs at Misawa AB.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk
Develop acquisition packages (SOWs, IGEs, RFPs)
Oversee design and construction execution
Track project performance and financials
Coordinate with stakeholders and lead project meetings
Review contractor deliverables and ensure compliance
Support project closeout documentation
Requirements
Key Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Government Security Clearance (NACI) is required
Knowledge: ·
Strong knowledge of DoD project lifecycle experience
Familiarity with PACES, scheduling tools, NexGenIT
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey concepts to diverse audiences
Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint and advanced Adobe skills preferred
Self-Starter: Highly motivated to improve organizational efficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously
Experience & Education
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) to ten (10) years in engineering or project management.
• Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
Ability to walk and navigate varied facilities, including construction areas and uneven terrain.
Fieldwork might require bending, stooping, and kneeling to access and inspect facilities in confined or difficult-to-reach areas.
