Leopardo Construction, ENR top 400 general contractor and top 100 green builder, is hiring for our administrative support team in the estimating department. The Estimating Coordinator has the opportunity to join a growing company that makes an impact in our communities and on our skyline.
The Estimating Coordinator supports Leopardo’s preconstruction and estimating team by managing bid documentation, coordinating pursuit logistics, and assisting estimators throughout the full estimating lifecycle. This role is critical to maintaining organized, accurate, and timely bid submissions across multiple concurrent pursuits. The Estimating Coordinator ensures estimating teams can focus on scope, strategy, and pricing by handling coordination, tracking, and administrative execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pursuit & Bid Coordination
Evaluate subcontractor proposals to determine applicable CSI (Construction Specification Institute) trades and ensure bids are organized, labeled, and filed accurately for estimator analysis
Set up and manage new bid pursuits, including plans, specifications, addenda, bid forms, etc.
Maintain bid calendars, pursuit logs, and internal milestone/manpower tracking
Create, manage, and maintain bid invitations and pursuit records within BuildingConnected, including subcontractor distribution lists, ITBs (Invitation to Bid), and response tracking
Create and maintain proposal templates pre-populated with pertinent bid, project, and document information to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across pursuits’
Ensure all proposal requirements and deadlines are met. If needed, coordinate final bid submissions, including electronic uploads and delivery requirements
Follow up with market leaders on pending bid pursuits
Document Control & Estimating Organization
Maintain organized digital file structures for all estimating pursuits in accordance with Leopardo standards
Archive completed estimates and historical data for future reference
Compile and organize appropriate estimating documents for turnover to operations
Maintain estimating templates, forms, and standardized documentation
Estimator Support
Contact subcontractors and suppliers via phone and email to track bid participation, confirm intent to bid, and follow up on pending or missing bid responses as requested by the estimating team
If needed, perform basic quantity takeoffs under estimator direction/supervision
Systems & Process Support
Support Leopardo’s estimating tools and document management systems
Maintain pursuit dashboards, logs, and reporting tools
Assist in continuous improvement of estimating processes and workflows
Ensure compliance with Leopardo’s estimating standards and best practices
Education / Experience Requirements:
2+ years of experience in construction administration, estimating support, or preconstruction coordination
Experience supporting commercial construction teams. Experience at a general contractor preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF software (Bluebeam preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Leopardo considers many factors when determining actual salary including experience, education, unique skillsets, abilities, market, geography and business needs. Target base pay range: $27-40 per hour. This position is eligible for annual discretionary bonus. Leopardo does not discriminate based on any protected category with respect to wages.
