Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Innovation Project Manager to support AFCEC/CFDI Special Programs Division(SPD) at Tyndall AFB, FL.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Lead large, complex disaster recovery projects, including the rebuilding of Tyndall AFB
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations
Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies and practices to improve disaster resilience and enhance the Air Force's "Installation of the Future" concept
Provide project management support for each innovative capability being initiated, deployed, and sustained at Tyndall AFB
Support AFWERX Challenges, innovation forums, meetings, and working groups, demonstrations, briefings, and other related events
Analyze experimental designs and provide recommendations concerning adoption of these designs and audit the performance of new technologies
Evaluate cost, performance, applicability of methods, development of initial methodologies and life cycle cost analysis
Requirements
Key Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship and theability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Software: Proficiency using MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and portable document format (PDF)
Self-Starter and Team Player: Highly motivated, with the ability to perform at a high level of quality with minimal supervision; ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team of individuals to meet the needs of our clients
Experience & Education
Experience:
A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience of directly applicable work experience
Direct experience with AFCEC/CFSD (military, civilian, Contractor including A&AS and Title II)
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs
