This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in design management, multidisciplinary coordination, and infrastructure projects who enjoys working across engineering teams to drive design quality, constructability, and project alignment. You will collaborate closely with engineers, consultants, and project leadership to ensure designs are compliant, practical, and delivered on schedule.

This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to a complex transit program with long-term visibility and regional significance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Act as a liaison between engineering teams, project managers, and client stakeholders
  • Review design packages (civil, structural, and systems) for compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Lead technical meetings, coordination sessions, and design workshops across disciplines
  • Identify and resolve design conflicts, constructability concerns, and project risks
  • Provide actionable technical feedback to support efficient decision-making and design progression
  • Monitor design schedules, deliverables, and milestones to maintain project timelines
  • Support integration between design, construction, and operational requirements
  • Assist with project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, or design management, with a focus on design review or coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred)
  • Experience reviewing transportation, aviation, rail, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles and constructability
  • Background in design-build or alternative delivery projects is a plus
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
  • Prior experience with Port Authority, transit agencies, or large public-sector clients is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
