The Safety & Training Coordinator will be responsible for conducting training needs analysis to identify the competency framework with Environment Safety & Health (ESH) skills and knowledge required for all levels within the Ontario Line Project Delivery Team (PDT) as well as coordinates in-house and external ESH training for all levels of PDT and will have the opportunity to work on the Ontario Line (OL) Subway, Metrolinx project. Join us in this full-time permanent role and be a champion of diversity and inclusion. Duties & Responsibilities: Supports the Delivery Teams and deployed Safety Teams with the review of Contractors Training and Competency Plans and Programs, makes recommendations for improvement. In conjunction with Delivery Teams and deployed Safety Teams, performs field verification activities of Contractors training and competency programs  Reviews Segment specific or OL Project wide trends from the monthly/weekly reports and dashboards to identify areas of improvement with additional training and communication resources  In conjunction with Delivery Teams and Safety Teams, reviews incident investigations for development and distribution of safety alerts and lessons learned to share across Ontario Line Project Delivery Team and Contractors Develops and distributes regularly (daily, weekly, monthly) communication material to the IPT.   Qualifications: 3 to 5 years experience in developing training and education materials and delivering training, as well as delivery quality outputs of an ESH training program Coordination experience in railway safety, infrastructure and heavy civil preferred Strong working knowledge of Ontario OHSA Act and Regulations with an enhanced level of knowledge and experience in construction requirements Ability to establish collaborative and effective working relationships Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Additional Information: We offer a competitive compensation package, a great learning environment, interesting & challenging work and the opportunity for career advancement.   Base Annual Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 CAD per year (Bantrel provides a competitive compensation package that reflects the skills, qualifications, and experience relevant to the role. The figures shared represent base salary only and do not include other elements of the Total Rewards offering. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and alignment with the role requirements.)  Please note: This salary range is specific to this opportunity and location.
