Description In this role, you will provide leadership and technical expertise on high-impact projects, guiding them from initial concept through to completion. You’ll have the opportunity to shape complex engineering initiatives, working closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Manage multiple, simultaneous projects across all stages—from concept design to construction completion. Guide project teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery with an emphasis on high technical quality. Design and Quality Control: Participate in and review construction documents, drawings, reports, submittals, and proposals to maintain quality and consistency. Ensure all design components align with project specifications. Field Coordination: Conduct and coordinate field measurements, data collection, and site inspections. Ensure accurate reporting and documentation. Client and Team Collaboration: Attend design coordination meetings with clients and team members, foster strong client relationships, and actively participate in peer reviews to enhance quality and mitigate risk. Financial Oversight: Prepare monthly projections, track project milestones, and assist with billing and invoicing. Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior engineers and team members, sharing technical expertise and supporting their professional growth. Business Development Support: Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams on RFQs, interviews, and presentations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in the industry, preferably within a consulting engineering firm. Professional Engineer (PE) license, with eligibility for licensure in NC, SC, and VA. In-depth knowledge of power, lighting, data, security, and fire alarm distribution systems. Background in building and/or industrial/manufacturing facilities is highly desirable. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Visual, SKM) and construction document software.
