Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Engineer/Project Engineer to join our team, providing senior-level engineering leadership and technical oversight for engineering and technical-support services for U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii and Hawaii Infrastructure Task Force (HITF). The work will be performed in a hybrid environment, utilizing a combination of remote work and on-site presence at USAG-Hawaii facilities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Lead or review the Contractor’s technical analyses, technical document reviews, engineering reports, infrastructure assessments, technical risk analyses, cost-estimating support, schedule-analysis support, requirements-documentation support, and technical recommendations before submission to the Government
Ensure that contractor technical work products are internally reviewed for technical accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable contract requirements before submission to the Government
Posses demonstrated experience relevant to potable-water infrastructure, utility infrastructure, facilities engineering, capital-improvement projects, construction, or comparable engineering programs
6+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience, including experience reviewing technical design packages, studies, project submittals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical report
Serve as the Architect of Record; provide final licensed approval of engineering or design documents; make final technical decisions for the Government; or otherwise perform inherently governmental functions

Key Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously.
Experience & Education
Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience, including experience reviewing technical design packages, studies, project submittals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical report is required.
Education/Certifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business administration, or related discipline; or equivalent qualifying experience is required.
